Членский билет ВЛСКМ, 1979 год. Наличие данного билета обозначало, что человек состоит в комсомоле – Всесоюзном ленинском коммунистическом союзе молодежи – значимой политической организации в Советском Союзе. Быть членом ВЛКСМ было почетно, для этого нужно было пройти собеседование, знать устав организации, поэтому комсомольцы всегда с гордостью носили значок ВЛКСМ на груди и бережно хранили билет. В комсомол принимались девушки и юноши в возрасте от 14 до 28 лет. Членский билет ВЛКСМ приобрел свою значимость в 1918, и этот год считается днем рождения комсомола. После прекращения существования СССР в 1991 году ВЛКСМ перестал существовать как массовая организация, поскольку система была упразднена. Это привело к утрате значения комсомольского билета как символа принадлежности человека к общественной организации и приверженности идеям коммунизма. Интересно то, что билет ВЛКСМ несколько раз менялся: в 1938 году на обложке появился силуэт Ленина, а в 1956 году билет стал темно-красным.

Membership card of the All-Union Leninist Communist Youth Union, 1979. This card meant that a person was a member of the Komsomol - the All-Union Leninist Communist Youth Union - a significant political organisation in the Soviet Union. To be a member of the Komsomol was an honour, for this it was necessary to pass an interview, to know the charter of the organisation, therefore the Komsomol members always proudly wore the Komsomol badge on their chest and carefully kept the card. Girls and boys aged 14 to 28 were accepted into the Komsomol. The Komsomol membership card gained its significance in 1918, and this year is considered to be the birthday of the Komsomol. After the USSR ceased to exist in 1991, the Komsomol stopped existing as a mass organisation as the system was abolished. This resulted in the loss of the significance of the Komsomol ticket as a symbol of a person's belonging to a social organisation and commitment to the ideas of communism. What is interesting is that the Komsomol ticket was changed several times: in 1938 the silhouette of Lenin appeared on the cover, and in 1956 the ticket became dark red.
